2) POSTDOC/ RESEARCH SCIENTIST/ENGINEER IN PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY/GIS/INFORMATICS

The Landscape & Climate Group in the Geoscience Division, invites applications for a 3-year postdoctoral position, and a 2-year postdoctoral/research scientist/engineer position. The positions are associated with the research projects SciencePub (www.ngu.no/sciencepub) and GlaciPet (www.ngu.no/glacipet) funded by the Research Council of Norway and StatoilHydo. SciencePub is part of the International Polar Year program.

The successful candidates will work in an interdisciplinary group of Quaternary geologists, marine geologists and physical geographers. The group is expanding its activities with new fields of responsibility and larger research projects. The appointed persons will take part in various activities within the group, with a main focus on the research projects.
