We are excited to announce the opening of the second cycle of the Russian Scholars Program. The ExxonMobil Russian Scholars Program is a competitive scholarship program which provides highly qualified students from Russia with a fully-funded scholarship towards the completion of a Master's degree in the geosciences at a college or university in the United States or the United Kingdom.

The requirements are to complete an online application on the website: www.iie.org/exxonmobilscholars_russia and upload an academic transcript and recommendation letters. . The scholarship is open from May 15-October 15, 2009.

The ExxonMobil Russian Scholars Program is a highly competitive scholarship program which provides select student leaders from Russia with a fully-funded scholarship towards the completion of a Master’s degree in the geosciences at a college or university in the United States (U.S) or the United Kingdom (U.K). This unique scholarship opportunity offers:

o Master’s degree programs in geoscience for applicants with at least a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, geography, geoscience, mathematics or physics.
o Full graduate tuition to attend a U.S. or U.K university
o Academic and visa support
o Housing and living expenses while in the U.S or U.K
o Possible internship opportunities at ExxonMobil
o Medical insurance

All applicants for the Russian Scholars Program must hold a valid Russian Passport
