Retrogressive thaw slumps, Herschel Island, Yukon Territory, Canada

The active retrogressive that slumps (A) can extend up to 300 m inland. They are surrounded by a zone characterized by moist tundra which corresponds to stabilized retrogressive thaw slumps (S). The undisturbed tundra (U) is generally located above the stabilized zone
