Several exciting conferences for permafrost researchers are coming up in
2010. We have compiled a list, ordered after the abstract deadlines. Many of
the conferences offer travel grants and special PYRN social gatherings. The
Association of Early Career Polar Scientists, APECS, also has a strong
presence with multiple activities during the IPY Oslo Meeting.
