We seek a Postdoc within geomatics. The applicants should document good
skills within numerical and spatial modelling, and familiarity with
MATLAB or similar high level languages for implementing spatial and
temporal models. The applicant will work within one of our existing
research areas, e.g. spatial heat flow modelling to address permafrost
and seasonal frost in space and time, modelling of geohazards such like
risk and hazard modelling or mass movement modelling. Knowledge and
experience in cold regions and field work are an asset. The position has
a compulsory work load of 25% and the candidate will be involved in
lecturing and practical lab work in our geomatics courses in all levels,
especially in GIS-based spatial modelling, DEM generation and analysis,
and remote sensing.
