Post Doctoral Fellow / Research Associate

The Environmental Sciences Research Centre (ESRC) is a multidisciplinary
research and post graduate training centre carrying out fundamental and
applied research in Environmental Sciences. Our members belong to seven
universities and federal laboratories.

ESRC (St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia) has support
available for a Post Doctoral Fellow or Research Associate in the area
of regional climate modeling to join an international multidisciplinary
team of researchers to work on fundamental climate dynamics and research
on renewable energies. Experience in dynamical downscaling will be
considered an asset. The position is in principle for one year, renewal
for up to 5 years is possible subjected to satisfactory performance.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in any of the following disciplines:
Atmospheric Sciences, Physics, Geophysics, Meteorology, Astrometeorology
or related sciences. Demonstrated experience with numerical methods is
essential.

The position carries a salary of CAN $50,000, before taxes are deducted.
