Peat as the Means of Thermoinsulation

Local russians as the ethnic group settle in the mouth of Indigirka river. Their traditional way of economy is fishing, mammoth tusk collection and hunting for furry anymals. Population density in the Northern Yakutia is less than 1 person per square km. All the territory is divided between between members of the ethnic group as the property. Usually it is pretty far to go from the place of impact living called Russkoye Ustye (the Russian Mouth of Indigirka) to economically significant property. That is why the houses is built at the edge of the world. Lack of electricity and high demands for petrol result in needs for keeping houses warm enough to stay. Lack of constructing materials in Arctic tundra is obvious. It makes peat the most effective way to preserve heat inside the house.
