TICOP PYRN stipend

The Government of the Yamal-nenets Autonomous District will give financial support to permafrost young researchers to participate in the 10th International Conference on Permafrost

Young researchers are defined as students (Master and PhD students) or individuals having defended their PhD within the past five years at the date of the conference. To be eligible for the stipend, a young researcher should be the first author of an oral or a poster presentation and be registered in the Permafrost Young Researchers Network (PYRN).

All young researchers interested in applying for the stipend program should send an application file (named using their last name) including the title of their presentation and their resume (CV) (no more than 2 pages long) to Y.V. Khalilova with «TICOP PYRN stipend» in the subject line no later than February 10, 2012.


 The Young Researcher Stipend includes: 

  • Moscow-Salekhard-Moscow transfer;
  • Registration;
  • Dorm Room;
  • Daily Meal Tickets;
  • Excurcions;
  • PYRN workshop;
  • Social Event Fees during TICOP.
