By Martin Geilhausen - Posted on 25 February 2009

We are pleased to announce the release of the permalp.at homepage. The project permalp.at investigates the permafrost distribution of the Upper Tauern range (Austria).

Visit www.permalp.at and get a lot of project related information. An interactive WebGIS application shows the results of a pilot study (diploma thesis) simulating the permafrost distribution of Austria using the models PERMAKART and PERM. This dataset is free to download as a KML file for GoogleEarth.
