This
symposium will be of interest to scientists, scholars, and industry and
government professionals and students involved in renewable and
non-renewable resource management in Canada and other parts of the
world. The symposium will provide a forum for the exchange of current
applied international research, the presentation of new technology, and
the advancement of international co-operation in the circumpolar and
other regions of the world. It will also serve as an excellent way to
report on International Polar Year activities that are being conducted
in 2007/2008.
