We are pleased to remind you of the glaciological Conference “Ice and
Climate Change: A View from the South” (VICC 2010) to be held in
Valdivia, Chile, 1-3 February 2010 and announce that the deadline for
submission of abstracts has been extended 1 month, until October 23.
We have already received a large number of abstracts and count with a
distinguished list of invited speakers, as detailed in the 2nd
Circular (http://www.cecs.cl/vicc2010/). The objective of the
Conference is to present new results and discuss ongoing cryospheric
