Yes, it is beautiful. But it depends from what side to watch at it.
Shouldn't the mountains at this height be covered with snow. Can it be the result of climate change? Not long ago I watched the film An Inconvenient Truth (downloaded at http://filecraft.com shared files SE ) and Al Gore presented several photos of the same spot in the mountain which were made with a gap of 20 or more years. The snowy slopes disappered and looked like on this photo. I've read that climate change hit French Alps a lot. Now it hardly snows at 1800m.
