Massive ice body, Herschel Island, CanadaThe Permafrost Young Researchers Network host a community of more than 500 active young permafrost researchers from 43 different countries. These researchers come from very different backgrounds; some are geomorphologists, engineers, microbiologists, others are ecologists, archeologists, anthropologists, climatologists.

PYRN fosters communication across disciplines and has initiated several community projects. You can register to one of our groups or simply find a buddy on the member list.
