Breakup date of three lakes at Toolik Field Station
name is Benjamin Jones and I am researcher at the USGS in Anchorage and
a graduate student at UAF. I just participated in an NSF AON supported
project on Arctic Lakes in northern Alaska. As part of this project I
setup a wireless webcam network at Toolik Field Station and have created
a small competition for guessing the breakup date of three lakes there.
